The Strikers produced an ordinary fielding performance which didn't help and also looked to be a pace bowler short. They'll need to regroup before a final two game push at the Finals.
Bradley Hogg was the king of the WACA tonight. Every move he made was cheered and constant 'Hoggy' chants broke out late in the match. His spell with Michael Beer sealed the match.
Adelaide got off to a good start and matched the required run rate for a while, but spin proved their undoing. Brad Hogg took 3 wickets and the Strikers lost all momentum to be bowled out well short.
A big victory for the Perth Scorchers set up by their top order batting. Gibbs and North blitzed the attack to get them to 0/93 at the halfway mark. They pushed on to 184 which proved to be more than enough.
